Before taking her elder care services nationwide through Virtual Consultations, Christina Drumm-Boyd founded Care Connect of Hampton Roads (CCHR) in Virginia in 2006. More than a decade later, CCHR continues to grow in size and popularity as it provides comprehensive guidance and access to quality elder care services.

Since many of CCHR clients have caregivers who live more than an hour from Mom or Dad, including many who live out-of-state, Christina realized her Virtual Consultation capabilities and skills were borderless and launched Care Connect Direct to families nationwide in 2017.

Christina is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and Geriatric Care Manager (GCM) who is passionate about seniors and their families. Along with her staff, Christina works hands on with each client to find the best solutions for the challenges that often come with aging.

For decades, Christina has worked at all levels of the senior health care industry, serving as director of admissions and marketing for assisted living, nursing homes, memory care, and independent living communities.

She also served as a support group facilitator for the Alzheimer’s Association. Her educational training is in Human Services Counseling.

Our professional staff of Geriatric Case Managers is what sets us apart from many elder care firms. Each manager has one or more degrees in subjects that range from psychology, business, and human service counseling.

Collectively, the staff boasts over four decades of working in the elder care industry, which means they possess valuable experience and knowledge that our clients greatly benefit from.

Our Geriatric Case Managers have earned many licenses which provide clients with a wide view of their options. Licenses include Life, Health and Annuities Agent, Accredited Veterans U.S. Veterans Administration Agent, and Accredited Certified Senior Advisor.
